The Wedding Contract That Broke an Alpha

C1 (1)

“Tell me, Alpha Logan. Doesn’t any part of this feel… orchestrated?”

But of course, reasoning with Logan was like talking to a wall.

“Diana!” he barked, his voice cracking with anger. “Don’t you dare try to sow discord between me and my people. You were so eager to break things off—what, regretting it already?”

Regret? If anything, disappointment pulsed through me—not in the broken engagement, but in how foolish this Alpha truly was. The Frostbite Pack might have mastered business and bloodlines alike, but this heir was nothing more than a pup playing Alpha.

“Did you hear him?” Sara sneered. “You’re not welcome here, little bitch. Get out while you still can.”

If she thought her words would sting, she was sorely mistaken.

I smiled. Slow. Knowing.

“Oh, Sara. You’ve already won. You got your precious deal. No need to keep performing.”

Then I tilted my head.

“Go on. Bring out the person you’ve been waiting for.”

My voice had barely faded when the dressing room doors swung open again.

A young woman walked in, chin high, hair gleaming like frost-gold under the lights. Her perfume filled the air.

The room collectively inhaled.

She didn’t even glance at me. Her gaze went straight to Logan, eyes gleaming with conquest.

“Logan,” she said, her lips curving into a perfect smile. “Will you marry me?”
