Wild Bobcat Approaches A Woman, and She Decides to Follow

The bobcat stood motionless in the middle of the trail, its golden eyes locked onto Claire’s with unwavering intensity. It didn’t move or flee—just watched her as if it had been waiting all along. Then, without a sound, it turned and slipped silently into the trees, pausing only to glance back. It was inviting her to follow.

Claire’s breath quickened. This behavior was anything but normal. Wild animals didn’t seek out humans, and they certainly didn’t lead them somewhere. Her instincts screamed to turn around, to retreat the way she came. Yet, despite the warning bells, she hesitated.
